In this 3rd Quarter of 2023, I prepared 10 new study pages and added them to the website. This brings the number of study pages on the site to 1,570.

The last five lessons in that list are additions to the series on Opposites in the Bible.
Signs of Interest
I received some emails from people who came across the website, found it very helpful, and thanked me for it. This is a sign that the website is useful in God’s kingdom.
Another sign is the 50 downloads a day of lesson material. If a user downloads a page to their computer, they obviously have an interest in it.
A third sign is the 12,000 actions per day (approximately) on the site, such as clicks, scrolls, entries, etc. A lot of fingers and thumbs moving there, each showing some level of interest and seeking.
Website Usage
Now here are the key metrics for the site in the third quarter (Jul-Aug-Sep) of 2023. The statistics are shown for each month.
Note that in the following table Pages means web pages opened and viewed by visitors. Visits means the number of visitors who opened those pages. Google means the approximate number of user actions on our pages in the Google search engine (July and August clicks only; September all events: clicks, scrolls, etc.) And PDF means downloads of the PDF versions of the web pages.

For the twelve months to the end of June 2023, the number of page views was 2 million.

Other Work Done
Besides the writing of new lessons there were these tasks...
- Google's new system for monitoring websites and providing statistics is working well for simplybible.com, but it's complicated and took a bit of work to understand.
- I did some more work on our internal search system to improve response to certain keywords and phrases.
- Made adjustments to the page banner so that more of the page content can be seen under the banner on mobile phones. This leads the user to scroll down the page.
- Updated pages concerned with the site's mission and history.
Other Matters
CHURCH. We continued to hold Sunday morning services in our home, with one Christian lady still meeting regularly with us using Facetime. On two occasions we had an elderly couple meet with us, who have long been faithful Christians, and were known to me in my teenage years. On another occasion, we had a young couple from Vanuatu meet with us who are working on a nearby farm.
VANUATU
Over the past two years, Australian Christians have sent substantial assistance to brethren on Tanna. Over that period, the island was hit by ash from the volcano erruption, an earthquake, and two cyclones. We provided food, building materians, Bibles, books, and Bible lesson materials.
This included not only Lenakel but also the small church at the south of the island. Recently they received funds for cement blocks for their church building.
Brother Miswel asked us to pass on the sincere thanks from the churches on Tanna to those who have helped them.
