Other Work Done
Besides the writing of new lessons, there were a number of minor edits required as there always are. I did some posting on Twitter and Facebook @simplybible.
Other Matters
CHURCH. We continued to hold Sunday morning services in our home, with one Christian lady still meeting regularly with us using Facetime.
VANUATU CYCLONES
Vanuatu suffered widespread damage from two cyclones (Judy and Kevin) in two days as well as a recent earthquake.
Christians on Tanna had their gardens wiped out, and hunger was a major problem. Several families lost their homes. Some had to sleep in the church building.
A number of Christians here in Australia, have sent money through a man of the church in Tanna whom we know well. With the first money sent, he was able to buy many bags of rice which he distributed.
But there is other assistance needed besides food. He also bought nails essential for repairs and rebuilding.
As well as the congregation he belongs to, he was also able to take help to the Christians in the south of Tanna Island.
The brethren in Tanna have also asked for English Bibles, Bible class materials and Bible story books. Some Christians here in Australia are sending Bibles. Susanne and I are printing a big lot of class materials to send.
