Passing the Message On
It is pleasing to know that people use the website lessons in their gospel work. For example, one person wrote to me and said, "Dear brother in Christ, I'm blessed by your [lessons] and use them as a resource in my ministry. Praising God for you."

Now here are the key metrics for the site in the third quarter (Jul-Aug-Sep) of 2022. The statistics are shown for each month of the quarter. Page views came back to over 200,000 per month.
Note that in the following table Pages means web pages opened and viewed by visitors. Visits means the number of visitors who opened those pages. Google means the approximate number of clicks for our pages on the Google search engine. And PDF means downloads of the PDF versions of the web pages.

YouTube Videos
There are now 1,140 subscribers to the video channel. Some comments were left on the channel. For example one person said the video on Predestination was very helpful. Our YouTube channel is www.youtube.com/simplybible if you wish to have a look.
Other Work Done
Besides the writing of new lessons, there was some website maintenance done...
- Modifying navigation tabs. I did the final adjustments, testing, and installing of the modified code to provide a "Previous" tab beside the "Next" tab. There are now six tabs instead of five. This change improves navigation on small devices like mobile phones.
- Tested every Control script. A Javascript file controls pages in a given series of lessons. There are over 100 of these control files. The control script for a series is updated when a new web page is made for that series. But this quarter I checked all control files to see if they are all working properly.
- New Function for Quiz Pages. Quiz pages are popular. They are not trivia questions, but rather designed to be a learning exercise. People using them online have an answer button for each question, to reveal the answer. But when it comes to downloading the questions (as a pdf document to print on paper) a special print section had to be included on the quiz page with answers copied manually. That was rather a waste of time, so I developed a function to add to a quiz page which automatically produces the answers on the pdf document. I can place this function on any new quiz page.
- Checking thousands of Links I checked every link on the website to make sure they were all valid and working. Of course that would be impossible to do by hand because there are thousands of them. But I have an application called Integrity that does the job within one hour. After that, however, I have to correct any errors. There were only a few to fix or remove.
Other Matters
CHURCH. We continued to hold Sunday morning services in our home, with one Christian lady still meeting regularly with us using Zoom. She was able to join us in person on two Sundays, on one of which we took her to Mungar and we met with the congregation there.
